No More Fumbles Product Review
I love doing product reviews for people and company’s products. I think it is fun to run them through the ringer and see how they hold up and if I think they would be a beneficial product to have.
When Perform Rx contacted me and asked if I would do a product review of the se-CURE-it ball security system. I had a little idea of what they were talking about and I went to their website “NoMoreFumbles” and I knew what they were trying to achieve right away with these products. See about 5 years ago I took a bunch of football belts and tied them all up around a rugby ball. My thought at that time was I would train the running backs in the summer with it by trying to pull the rugby ball out of their grip. By the way, during summer training a college strength coach cannot use a direct sporting implement to train the athletes with in that sport-hence why I was using a rugby ball and not a football. NEVER violate NCAA rules! It worked but I was always having to readjust the belts and it was a pain. I really have not done it since.
The no more fumbles straps fix this dilemma. The way it works is you deflate your football, basketball, or rugby ball and place the strap around the ball. Inflate the ball while the strap is around it and it will securely fit into place with no slippage. I was impressed by how well the straps stayed in place on the balls even when tugged on extremely hard.
The company includes anchor straps, a nice bungee cord with clips and a nylon anchoring cord. You can see in the video above how these items can get set up and used. What a really like is the ability to train with the straps in a variety of ways. You can do standard strength movements which will rely a lot on your grip to hold onto the ball or you can get very sport specific with the movements.
For certain strength exercises the cords will not provide enough resistance for college aged athletes but the straps can easily attach to any cable machine which easily solves this small issue. For another alternative, these straps can easily be used with jump stretch bands which are more commonly found in weight rooms these days.
Overall, I would recommend this product to coaches and athletes. It is relatively an inexpensive, very durable item that can really be a positive to enhance sports specific training movements. You can find out more information at their website www.nomorefumbles.com .
By the way, many individuals think I do these reviews for a kickback or to make money. I will be making absolutely no money off of this review or any sales of these products. This was strictly my opinion. If you have a product physical or informational and you would like an opinion or suggestions for improvement just contact me and we can discuss the possibilities for a product review. I reserve the right to not provide reviews for certain products. I only review products that I think Variety Trainer readers may find beneficial.
Hope that helps!
To your health,
Jerry
