Pinch Gripping Singles
On the third day of Gripmas my true love gave to me… DUMBBELLs! OK, here is one that you will most likely be able to do in any weight room. Pinch grip singles will build incredible strength in the hand and fingers. I prefer using the old style York Barbell dumbbells, but almost any style dumbbell will work.
Try out this working set. Start with your pointer finger on your right hand and pinch it with your finger and thumb (as explained in the video) and attempt to lift like a dead lift up to hip height and then return it to the floor and repeat doing with each finger until you reach the little (pinky) finger and move on to the left hand and follow the same sequence. Try repeating this five times. Your hands will be screaming!! Let me know what you think.
